Retail and Customer Service

The Innovation Centre offers trainees the chance to train for and gain experience of the world of work. 

As you enter through the front door of the Innovation Centre, you find yourself in the middle of our retail training site.  The retail training site is a working shop where trainees can gain experience through serving the public at the heart of the community.  The shop provides trainees with experience of stock sorting and management, till work and customer service. 

We offer trainees the opportunity to work towards National Skills Profile (NSP) qualifications. These qualifications provide evidence of practical skills as well as knowledge of the retail and customer service industries that trainees can take with them into future jobs and careers. 

The training team work hard to provide a supportive and friendly learning environment with a strong work ethic at its core.  Our trainees gain the skills and confidence to enter employment or do voluntary work in the future.
